SHAKESPEARE & Renaissance Shenanigans
Come to Ye Olde Kew Gardens
HEAR YE! HEAR YE! All Are Invited to a SHAKESPEARE FAIRE in Kew Gardens!
Be part of the audience to enjoy scenes from Shakespeare's famous plays and perhaps participate in the Shakespeare Insult Contest to "Laugh oneself into
stitches"
(Twelfth Night).
Step up to the microphone to read a favorite sonnet (there are 154 to choose from). Wear a costume to the Faire and/or design a flower crown or Robin Hood Hat at
the Arts & Crafts Table. Expect many more surprises and HAVE A GREAT DAY!
BTW If Shakespeare was alive today, he may have stopped by to have an ale at Austin’s Ale House (82-70 Austin Street, Kew Gardens) where the theatrics
continue
