LOCATION: Kew Gardens Cinemas Park on Austin Street off Lefferts and surrounding areas. 


SET-UP TIME: begins at 8:00 AM and must be finished by 10:45 AM. The public 

will arrive at 11:00am. 


SPACE: 5’x6’ space. Tables & Chairs are not supplied. However, assigned space 

may include park benches. All spaces assigned by the Jury Committee.

You will be able to unload your car on Austin Street by Kew Gardens Cinemas Park 

and then it will be necessary to use neighborhood parking. 



To submit work for consideration (by September 1, 2015) 

Photography submissions should be at least 150dpi and all in one PDF document. Each image should be labled with the title, dimensions, and medium. The 3 images that you submit must be representative of the work that you’ll be displaying.

Participating artists will be selected and notified by email/phone by September 10th.

Fee and signed waiver will secure artist participation and will be due upon acceptance.

FEE: $30. Check payable to KGCRA (Kew Gardens Council for Recreation and the Arts, Inc.) KGCRA is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1970 to support, promote, and develop the arts in Kew Gardens. 


ELIGIBILITY: All artists must be 18+ years and live in Queens. 

All work displayed must be original, handcrafted work that is made by the participating artist.

All work must be available for sale. 


ENTRY CATEGORIES: Paintings, pottery, photography, glass, jewelry, multi-media, fiber art, illustration, wall art, sculpture, etc. 


SELECTION REQUIREMENTS: Jury Committee will make selections based on a 

collective balance of art.


LIABILITY: The Kew Gardens Council for Recreation & the Arts, Inc  and the Kew 

Gardens Cinemas will not be held liable for injury to persons, property or exhibited 

artwork during the course of the event.


CANCELLATION POLICY: If you must cancel your participation, your payment 

will be refunded provided you give notice by September 18, 2015. However, if the 

cancellation policy is not adhered to, your payment will be donated.


CLEAN-UP: Each artist is required to keep his/her space clean of trash and debris. 

All walk areas around the table must be clear and free of tripping hazards.
